Bold Insight highlighted in Inc. Magazine’s Editors’ List for Best Workplaces of 2020 as one of the highest-scoring businesses, with standout employee engagement

May 5, 2020

Bold Insight has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2020. Hitting newsstands May 12 in the May/June 2020 issue, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits. Additionally, Bold Insight is featured as one of ten companies on the Editors’ List.

Thrilled to be recognized, Bold Insight’s mission was clear from inception, to be a company that evolved with its employees. From office design to employee benefits, every major company decision was made inclusively and with thoughtful consideration of how that decision would impact team members at different professional (and personal) life stages.

“We are incredibly proud to be included on this list,” said Managing Partner Gavin Lew. “We took a different approach when we founded Bold Insight to build careers rather than jobs. When you craft pieces of the company like benefits, workplace environments, reviews, all with that lens of the company growing with employees as they are in the various life stages, that becomes a place where someone wants to work for the duration.”

Collecting data from more than 3,000 submissions, Inc. singled out 395 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. Then we ranked all the employers using a composite score of survey results. This year, 73.5 percent of surveyed employees were engaged by their work.

The strongest engagement scores came from companies that prioritize the most human elements of work. These companies are leading the way in employee recognition, performance management, and diversity.

“Employee engagement is not hard to find at Bold Insight,” commented Partner Pamela Stoffregen-Gay. “We have established a workplace environment that encourages feedback, team support, and compassion. An exercise we conducted early on was to identify company values, and it was immediately clear that we were all vested into cultivating a Bold culture so it would be a place at which we enjoy working.”

“Building a great corporate culture comes only from strong leadership,” says Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from, especially now, when company culture is more important to the workforce than ever.”
