Ashley has a background in cognitive science, linguistics, and human development and spent time in academic research before transitioning to UX. She has leveraged her many years of research experience to work with product and design teams to develop products with the end user experience in mind. Ashley has mentored UX researchers and designers, helped to hire and grow teams, and empower product and design teams to conduct actionable research. She has worked both as a consultant with clients in a variety of industries and as an in-house UX researcher on enterprise and consumer technologies. Ashley has a MS in Human Development, a BS in Brain & Cognitive Sciences, and a BA in Linguistics from the University of Rochester.
