This month, Lindsey DeWitt Prat, PhD, Director at Bold Insight, will speak at the AI for Developing Countries Forum (AIFOD) 2025 Winter Summit in Geneva, Switzerland. The event unites global leaders and innovators to shape a future where AI benefits all of humanity. The AIFOD Presidium has selected DeWitt Prat for a Senior Fellow nomination, recognizing her influential work in cultural insights and user experience research on a global scale. 

DeWitt Prat will contribute to the session, Data Rights Reconstruction and Distribution, joining AI experts to explore the evolution of data rights in the global digital economy. The talk will highlight the significant contributions of developing countries as major data producers and address strategies for establishing equitable data pricing, benefit distribution, and regulatory frameworks that support fair value distribution and foster global cooperation.  

“I am excited to discuss the importance of language and culture as AI increasingly integrates into daily life globally,” said DeWitt Prat. “Receiving this nomination is a great honor, and I look forward to advancing the dialogue on inclusive AI with fellow experts.” 

DeWitt Prat will share insights from her collaborative AI research in Africa, led by Bold Insight, Mantaray Africa (Bold Insight’s African partner in the UXalliance), and Google. Previously, DeWitt Prat presented findings from this groundbreaking study at EPIC2024, a premier international conference in Los Angeles, and EPIC Redux: AI Meets Human – Who’s Really In Charge? research event in London.
