Bold Insight highlights Spay and Neuter Awareness Month

February 3, 2021

A quick scan through Bold Insight’s social media posts will reveal that employees have a soft spot for animals. Many on Bold Insight’s team support local rescue organizations through fostering, recurring financial donations, spearheading collection drives, or volunteering. It’s because of this passion for rescued animals that the company decided to raise awareness to those organizations that matter to the team during the nationally recognized Spay and Neuter Awareness Month.

The goal of Spay and Neuter Awareness Month is to bring attention to the importance of spaying and neutering pets to reduce overpopulation in shelters. By highlighting this key step in pet ownership and sharing information regarding reduced-cost services at many shelter and vet locations during the month of February, Bold Insight hopes to help reduce the need for shelters to euthanize animals because of lack of space.

“We asked our team to share with us the rescue organizations that they work with so we can put some of our company resources behind their efforts,” said Pamela Stoffregen-Gay, Partner at Bold Insight. “We hope that by raising awareness on our channels and highlighting a cause that means so much to us that we can make a positive impact.”

Consider donating to a local animal rescue organization to help offset the cost of the discounted spay and neuter services this month. Most shelters also have a list on their websites of requested donated items like food, cleaning supplies, and household items. If you are looking for organizations to support, our team regularly works with the following:

About Spay and Neuter Awareness Month and World Spay Day (February 23, 2021)

World Spay Day—the last Tuesday of February—provides an opportunity for shelter and rescue organizations to highlight their spay/neuter programs and win more community support in the form of donors, volunteers, and clients. Created by the Doris Day Animal League in 1995 as Spay Day USA, World Spay Day has been recognized by nearly 70 countries, shining a spotlight on the power of affordable, accessible spay/neuter to save the lives of companion animals, community (feral and stray) cats and street dogs who might otherwise be put down in shelters or killed on the street.
