This week, Korey Johnson, Managing Partner at Bold Insight, will guest lecture for Yale University’s Medical Software and Medical Artificial Intelligence online program. He will discuss the role of human factors research in supporting successful product development, common misconceptions about the medical device development process, and when manufacturers should worry about regulatory issues during submission.
“Ensuring products are safe and effective at every stage of the development process minimizes use-related risk, and fosters better end-user experience,” said Johnson. “This discourse will draw on our decades of experience working in regulated industries, providing Yale students with deeper insight into the importance of applying human factors research to product development.”
Johnson regularly contributes as a thought leader within the healthcare research space, most recently discussing the impact of human factors research on patient safety with the Patient Safety & Quality Healthcare (PSQH) Podcast. Previously this year, Johnson shared on how to improve healthcare experiences in online publications MedTech Intelligence, HIT Consultant, and Healthcare Business Today.
