Employee experience:

EcoX Workforce

We apply user experience and human factors principles and best practices to help craft recommendations to solve your workplace challenges to ultimately help your organization do better, design better, and deliver better experiences to customers, patients, diners, passengers, and employees.

Our business is people.

EcoX Workforce focuses on the employee and all facets of the employee experience, especially on how technology enhances or detracts from that experience and how processes and policies match company goals and employee needs.

What is EcoX Workforce?

Refining the experience of a product has an established development path. EcoX pushes beyond measuring the user interaction with devices or a service. EcoX measures user interactions with environments. A macro view of user experience, UX principles and methods are applied to better understand the user’s wants, needs, and expectations of how various technologies work together and are interconnected, how the environment is customized, and in what way the user expects it to evolve with their needs, ultimately resulting in a total system design.

We’re here to help

Organizational leaders are facing unprecedented and unexpected challenges as they work to achieve business goals. With the increase demand of remote work, flexible schedules, and motivation to question status quo, it’s clear that employees’ wants and needs from their managers and their companies are changing. People are frustrated, scared, tired, and angry; this is impacting businesses and employees alike.

Together, we want to amplify and strengthen your organizational work already in motion. Our goal is to support you with the research chops, analytical mindset, and hands-on HR experience to get things done.

These are brand new priorities for everybody. We are confident that successful organizations will focus on areas like:

Authentic data about your team’s concerns and needs — no over-indexing on the squeaky wheel, nor under-indexing on the person too worried to speak up

Smooth, smart systems for managers and employees to know about all company-offered programs and how to use them

A willingness to be experimental, to try new approaches, and be ready to admit when something needs to evolve

Respect for individual needs, while being mindful of favoritism and inequities

Well-thought through policies and processes that are easily accessed and understood

Clear, published people goals for each fiscal year

Why we’re different

We know that time is tight, resources are stretched, and yet the organizational needs are many. We are well-equipped to meet your team where you are and help propel you forward in your people journey.

We aren’t your typical HR consultancy. We aren’t looking to sell you on our next project or on our SaaS solution around the corner. We are and have always been focused on people and their experiences, designing these experiences with research-based recommendations.  Our perspective is on execution and adoption by focusing on engaging experiences, which is critical during this period of change and reflection.

What you’ll get

True “custom research” means the project, methodology, and output is based on your unique business goals, priorities, and employees. Often the term “custom” can be a scary word because it typically accompanies a long lead time and a larger price tag. But what custom really means is that we will understand your business needs and data (not boilerplate processes) to connect your business challenges to the fears and concerns of your employees. It means we deliver a landscape and initiatives that will move your objectives forward. “Custom” is a positive word because our deliverables will work for your business.

EcoX Map

We provide a landscape of your ecosystem. The map extracts data using both a top/down and bottom/up approach. The top/down research phase involves your business drivers. We pull together existing data, mission statements, business objectives and priorities, and known challenges. We also interview key employee stakeholders that include more directed questions around efficiency, profitability, and team priorities.

The map also draws from a bottom/up research phase that reaches employees at the base of the organization. We capture, with open-ended interviews, employee fears and concerns about themselves and business direction, communication, and change.

Our research phases feed into a landscape that maps to quadrants of employee needs and concerns demonstrating impact to the business, ultimately producing insights to guide business initiative development.

Co-creation Workshop

Solutions align in the co-creation workshop where we bring together key stakeholders, including those who execute company indicatives. During this workshop we help form initiatives that will answer the pressing needs of your organization. Using the EcoX Map as a stimuli for the workshop, we describe the identified problem and priority areas based on business needs and address employee fears.

We facilitate the co-creation workshop to form high-level initiatives and an action plan to allow your team to be proactive and take control of the drivers for organizational success.
