UX Institute interviews Bold Insight about the impact of AI on product experiences

November 15, 2023

This month, Bold Insight Managing Partner Gavin Lew spoke with Mark Swaine, CEO of UX Institute, a podcast that interviews user experience (UX) and product leaders from around the globe. In the episode, AI & UX – A conversation on how AI is enhancing product user experiences, Lew engages in an insightful discussion about how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the world of user experience and product design.

“Successful product development processes integrate UX insight early,” said Lew. “AI-enabled products are no exception. To differentiate and win the marketplace, we should incorporate the design around the user. AI is just like any new technological innovation and not be intimidated by it. UX needs to be engaged as the time is now.”

The conversation draws from Lew’s book, AI and UX: Why Artificial Intelligence Needs User Experience, co-authored by Robert Schumacher, Managing Partner of Bold Insight UK. Key topics discussed include AI’s role in creating intuitive, personalized experiences, refining data sets for better AI pattern recognition, and the importance of UX researchers staying updated on AI advancements for efficient workflows.
