Alongside other user experience (UX) leaders, Bold Insight’s Managing Partner Gavin Lew will be part of Los Angeles UX Research Group’s Fireside chat, “What convinced you someone would be a great UX researcher?” This virtual discussion will feature leading hiring managers in the UX research industry who will provide insight into what ultimately convinced them that someone would be a great UX researcher.

“Our best UX researchers have more skills than can be documented on a resume,” Lew says. “Interpersonal abilities and the desire to get to the bottom of research problems are just a few of the aspects that we have learned to look for while recruiting talented individuals to expand our teams. Researchers must want to learn and be genuinely curious to be good. This guiding principle has held true across the three UX organizations and 20+ years of hiring.”
