This June, Bold Insight celebrates Pride Month by championing local and national efforts for LGBTQ+ awareness and equality. This is a cause both personally impactful to the team and important to Bold Insight’s efforts to promote inclusive user experience (UX) research and design practices.
“Pride Month gives Bold Insight the opportunity to bring awareness to the need for inclusivity and equality for LGBTQ+ members of our team, our friends and family, and community,” said Catherine Hwang, Partner at Bold Insight. “We work to educate ourselves on inclusive research practices that enable our clients to design with equality in mind. We also strive for a work environment where each member of our team feels welcomed, valued, and safe.”
This month, Bold Insight is amplifying both local and national organizations focused on supporting LGBTQ+ youth. Youth Outlook, an Illinois organization dedicated solely to LGBTQ+ youth that offers drop-in centers and parent and caregiver support. It also provides community education programs that provide trainings to help empower LGBTQ+ youth. Youth Outlook has drop-in centers in Downers Grove, Naperville, and other locations in the Chicago suburbs. Visit their website to make a donation and to learn more about their work in the community.
Bold Insight also supports national nonprofit The Trevor Project, whose work includes providing information & crisis support to LGBTQ young people 24/7, advocacy and research, and public education and international support groups.
