What types of clients do you work with?

We work with organizations of all sizes—from startups to multinational enterprises. Whether you need a quick quote for a one-off project or are managing a multi-phase engagement with formal procurement, we’re ready. Our team can move fast when needed, and our experience with complex procurement processes means we’re equally comfortable navigating longer vetting cycles.

Do you support vendor onboarding and documentation requirements?

Yes. We’re ISO 9001:2015 certified and regularly undergo supplier audits. Our quality system includes well-documented data privacy, security, and research protocols, making your onboarding process smoother and faster.

What’s the typical process for starting a project?

It begins with a conversation. We’ll align on your goals, success criteria, and timelines. From there, we provide a detailed scope of work and transparent pricing. Once you approve, we finalize logistics and launch, collaborating with you at every step. You can be confident we will have everything in place to meet your deadlines and deliver meaningful insights.

Can you help shape the research plan, or do I need to bring one?

We’re flexible. If you’ve already mapped out your study, we’ll execute it with precision. If you’re still figuring out the best approach, we’ll help shape it by asking the right questions and offering creative, research-based solutions that match your needs and budget. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we’re happy to provide suggestions if requested and mitigate project risks whenever possible!

What services can you provide beyond conducting the study?

We support the full research lifecycle. That includes writing research protocols, handling IRB submissions, managing vendors who recruit participants (including hard-to-reach audiences), running the study, analyzing data, and delivering insights in formats that drive decisions, like reports, workshops, journey maps, and designs (just to name a few).

Where does the research take place?

Wherever it needs to. We conduct research in our labs, in participants’ homes, in clinical settings, in cars, and remotely—sometimes all of the above. Our setups are designed to mimic real-world use, and we make it easy for your team to observe, ask questions, and stay close to the process.

What do deliverables look like?

That depends on your team and your goals. We can deliver a fast-turn topline, a detailed research report with design recommendations, or a mix of both. Need something visual or strategic? We also produce video montages, annotated journey maps, and design prototypes.

Can you recruit specialized or hard-to-reach participants?

Yes. With two decades of experience, we’ve recruited everything from ICU nurses and teens with diabetes to multilingual drivers and content creators. We work with professional recruiters, advocacy groups, and partner networks to ensure we find the right participants on time and on spec.

How fast can we get started?

Sometimes within days. If your project is time-sensitive, let’s talk. We move quickly when needed since we have a large, flexible team, and always make sure the setup is solid before launch.

Why is “lunch” a company value?

Ok, this goes back to our User Centric days, when we began planning what we were going to eat for lunch at around 9am. Then we would decide as a group what the meal would be and eat together. With remote work, we don’t eat lunch together as often as we used to, but that doesn’t stop us from messaging each other that it’s time to eat or discussing restaurant options! And also, we love to hang out together so lunch is a great daily time to do that!

When can I meet your office dogs?

Any time! If you let us know you want to stop by, Tate, Coco, or Emery will be sure to roam the halls, waiting for hugs and treats.
