This month, Bold Insight Senior Human Factors Researcher Jesse Flint will co-present with Senior Human Factors Engineer, Elizabeth Wilson, at the 8th annual Medical Device Human Factors Conference. This event connects medical device professionals who wish to explore evolving FDA requirements and effective testing roadmaps that ensure user needs are translated into design concepts.
Flint and Wilson, whose talk, Practical case study: Integrating human factors into the systems engineering lifecycle, will use a real-world example to define a framework for positioning human factors engineering within the full systems engineering cycle, as well as, describe how to facilitate collaboration between human factors engineers and systems engineers.
“Human factors practitioners face a number of challenges integrating with engineering life cycles such as the agile framework,” said Flint. “We will be reviewing a number of strategies such as fostering interdisciplinary team collaboration and learning agile process that will assist human factors practitioners in integration while maintaining their sanity.”
The Medical Device Human Factors conference will be held in Arlington, VA on September 21, 2023. Visit the conference website to register and learn more.
