Bold Insight to highlight Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

September 1, 2021

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and as part of the 2021 Bold for Good campaign, Bold Insight is showing support for organizations that work towards suicide prevention and mental health.

The Bold Insight team chose this charitable cause because of their passion for the education and awareness around the stigma surrounding suicide prevention and mental illness.

“Mental health support is fundamentally important and should be accessible to everyone who needs it,” said Pamela Stoffregen-Gay, Partner at Bold Insight. “But also, our team has managed research that has helped improve the mental illness patient experience. Hearing the stories of participants has brought forward for us the critical role of organizations that provide resources for those struggling with suicidal thoughts and who need help.”

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people between the ages of 10 and 34 and is the tenth leading cause of death overall in the United States. Stigma against suicidal thoughts often prevents those who are struggling from reaching out for help when they most need it. To help those who struggle with suicidal thoughts or mental illness, support local and national programs:

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, available 24 hours a day: 800-273-8255.
