Speaking alongside an international panel of user experience (UX) experts, Bold Insight Managing Partners Gavin Lew and Robert Schumacher will highlight how to overcome global user research challenges and typical missteps of managing multi-country projects at the UXinsight Festival. The UXinsight Festival attracts hundreds of researchers from all over the world and is to be held virtually this year from April 14-16, 2021.
The interactive session, Global User Research: When the shit hits the fan!, presented by members of the UXalliance, a global network of leading UX agencies, will share personal stories of research failures so attendees can learn how to avoid making similar mistakes. In addition to Schumacher and Lew, panel presenters include Tjeerd de Boer (User Intelligence), Frederic Gaillard (Axance), Mark Brady (Sutherland Labs), Annemieke Van Ruiten (Assist Digital), and Helga Stegmann (Mantaray).
“Multi-country projects come with their own set of logistical challenges,” said Schumacher. “Often, knowing a handful of tips can make the difference between project success and disaster. Knowing when and where things can go sideways can help avoid all sorts of problems, and deliver the highest quality research.”
Bold Insight was also part of a global initiative to develop a research scheduling tool to support researchers who manage multi-country projects. This free tool collected and organized local, regional, and national holidays and events that might impact participant show rate in over 30 countries. The result is a quick and easy way to view available test days across countries. Best viewed on a desktop, visit researchcalendar.com to use.
