Brad Mattan, PhD
Brad brings a strong quantitative background and a decade of experience in behavioral science to client’s research challenges. He has worked with large datasets ranging from functional MRI data to geolocation and experience sampling data. Passionate about open science, Brad is a frequent user of open-source software and other tools for transparent, inclusive, and accountable science. Brad has a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Birmingham.

Chicago, of course! Of all the places I’ve lived, it has always felt the most like home.

Whoever they are, they must wear name tags. I’m terrible with celebrities.
Long-term personal or professional goal?
Personal: Get my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Professional: Conduct UX research in collaboration with NASA.

I regularly train and compete as a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
